Hadith - Riyad as-Salihin 611.

Abdullah bin Mas'ud (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "He who has, in his heart, an ant's weight of arrogance will not enter Jannah." Someone said: "A man likes to wear beautiful clothes and shoes?" Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "Allah is Beautiful, He loves beauty. Arrogance means ridiculing and rejecting the Truth and despising people."

In this hadith, Prophet Muhammad ﷺ explains that arrogance is a sin in Islam. He defines arrogance as ridiculing and rejecting the truth, as well as despising people. This means that one should not look down on others or think they are better than them because everyone is equal in the eyes of Allah. Furthermore, one should always accept the truth no matter what it may be. It also teaches us to be humble and to treat others with respect regardless of their social status or background.
